In 1991, the parent company—Shanghai Jinshan Chemical Co., Ltd.—was established. The company adopted and enhanced the internationally advanced "PRESS" ethoxylation/propoxylation atomization synthesis reactor system, achieving an annual production capacity of 12,000 tons. Product quality has been certified by multiple authoritative institutions, meeting international standards comparable to similar products worldwide.
In 2002, the Shenzhen branch—Shenzhen Banggao Industrial Co., Ltd.—was established. The company employs 25 mid-to-senior level technical professionals and possesses independent comprehensive R&D capabilities. Its primary focus is on the development and production of coating additives, textile and dyeing auxiliaries, plastic additives, chemical fiber finishing oils, and surfactants. The company maintains close collaboration with renowned academic institutions including Shanghai University, East China University of Science and Technology, and Dalian University of Technology, engaging in extensive technical exchanges and joint development of multiple scientific achievements, significantly expanding the market reach of its high-tech products.
In 2003, the Guangzhou branch—Banggao Industrial Co., Ltd. Guangzhou Branch—was established. Many products developed and manufactured by the company, including ethylene glycol phenyl ether and its acetate, propylene glycol phenyl ether and its acetate, low-foam wetting and dispersing agents, silane coupling agents, solubilizers, and emulsifiers, are proprietary innovations in the domestic market. With superior quality, these products now rival well-known international counterparts. Numerous domestic enterprises have competitively adopted these products, which have also been successively exported to Europe, Australia, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and other regions.
In 2009, the Heyuan quartz sand production base of Banggao Industrial Co., Ltd. successfully commenced trial production! Nestled between mountains and rivers, the Heyuan base enjoys a serene environment with convenient transportation—adjacent to National Highway 205 to the north, the scenic Dongjiang River to the south, the Beijing-Kowloon Railway to the west, and the He-Mei Expressway entrance to the east. As one of the earliest-discovered quartz sand reserves, the base boasts abundant mineral resources of exceptional grade, with physical and chemical properties superior to comparable products. These include high refractoriness, excellent permeability, smooth casting surfaces, easy mold release, and high product yield, as well as reusability across multiple cycles within the Heyuan quartz sand industry. The products are widely applied in glass, glass products, ceramics and refractory materials, construction, filtration, metallurgy, chemical, and other industries.
