Silane Coupling Agent

Chemical Name: Alkyl phenoxy polyoxyethylene methyl diethoxy silane
Physical Parameters: (The following are typical parameters and do not represent the characteristics of the product sold)

Density (20°C), g/cm3 1.075-1.085 Kinematic Viscosity (20°C), mm2/s 433±30
Refractive Index 1.4850-1.4906 Active Content, wt% ≥99
pH Value (1% Aqueous Solution) 6±0.5 Appearance Light yellow liquid

Key Features:
Excellent miscibility with most organic solvents, good permeability, wetting and coupling properties, and outstanding dispersing capability (due to its phenoxy organic functional group). Additionally, during the crosslinking process, oxidation resistance is significantly enhanced, and prolonged storage will not cause yellowing of the base material.

Applications:

        1. Used in unsaturated polyester composite materials to improve mechanical properties such as increased strength and toughness, particularly significantly enhancing the wet-state performance of composites. For example, when applied to artificial marble, surface treatment of the resin results in markedly improved tensile strength, flexural strength, and flexural modulus.
        2. When copolymerized with acrylic or methacrylic monomers and vinyl acetate, it is widely used in coatings and adhesives, providing excellent adhesion and durability.
        3. Used in the sizing treatment of glass fibers to improve the wet mechanical strength of glass fiber reinforced composites.

Equivalent Product Grades (Domestic and International):

        1. A-175 (Union Carbide Corporation, USA)
        2. Z-6030 (Dow Corning Corporation, USA)
        3. KBM-503 (Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd., Japan)
        4. KH-570 (Chinese Academy of Sciences)

Recommended Dosage and Usage: 3-8‰ based on resin weight
Packaging Specifications: 50 kg plastic drum and 200 kg plastic-lined drum
Storage and Transportation: Reseal the container tightly after opening to prevent contamination by dust or moisture.
