Applications:

        This product is widely used as a solvent in industries such as inks, paints, plastics, and fragrances. For example, it serves as a retarder solvent in automotive baking finishes and as a solvent for phenolic resin stoving coatings.
        It acts as a coalescing agent for water-based and solvent-based coatings, a cleaning agent for polyester resin equipment, and a curing agent for foundry core sand. 
        This product exhibits strong antibacterial and antifungal effects, and is effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. 
        This product can be used as an intermediate in organic synthesis.
