Widely used as a solvent in industries such as inks, paints, plastics, and fragrances. For example, it serves as a retarder solvent in automotive baking enamels and as a solvent for phenolic resin baking coatings.

Acts as a coalescing agent for water-based and solvent-based coatings, a cleaning agent for polyester resin plant equipment, and a curing agent for foundry core sand.

This product exhibits strong antibacterial and antifungal properties, effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
