Penetrating Agent

Chemical Composition: Sodium succinate sulfonate

Technical Specifications:

Specification Name Specification
Appearance Colorless to yellow viscous liquid
Penetration Power (%) ≥300 of Penetrating Agent BX standard

Uses:
Cotton, linen, viscose and blended products treated with Penetrating Agent T can be directly bleached or dyed without scouring, saving process steps and helping to reduce dyeing defects caused by dead cotton, while also imparting a softer and fuller hand feel to the fabric after dyeing and finishing.

Application Methods:
        1. Dyeing of raw cotton.
        2. Scouring of raw cotton products. Detailed procedures are provided separately.

Application Precautions:
         1. Penetrating Agent T exhibits optimal penetration performance below 40°C. As it is prone to hydrolysis in alkaline conditions at high temperatures, fabrics should be treated with Penetrating Agent T below 40°C before raising the temperature.
        2. Penetrating Agent T is not resistant to strong alkalis and should not be added directly to concentrated alkali solutions. The alkali solution should be diluted first before adding Penetrating Agent T.
        3. When scouring and bleaching grey fabric, the sizing material should preferably be thoroughly removed first to ensure the effectiveness of the penetrating agent.
        4. If excessive foaming is observed during use of Penetrating Agent T, a small amount of defoamer GP, octanol, or tributyl phosphate may be added for foam control.

Packaging and Storage:
Available in 50 kg plastic drums or 200 kg plastic-lined iron drums. Handle with care during transportation. Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse with the container tightly sealed. Shelf life: 6 months.
